Solution
The site uses reCAPTCHA v3 which is "silent" (i.e. no user interactions). Generally issues with the report endpoint are caused by content blockers blocking the scripts that make up reCAPTCHA. In your case it seems like while the scripts load perhaps something is blocking the connection that reCAPTCHA does to do its "magic" or its actually just timing out because of a slow connection.

Maybe try disabling any ad blockers or content blockers you are running to see if that helps or disabling apple's VPN thing if you use it.

I don't use content blockers on this device. (Crazy, I know.) Also I didn't use a VPN or Apple's Private Relay while trying to submit reports. In any case, I attempted to submit another report just now and it went through no problem 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for looking into this. I guess this thread could be closed.

Occasionally your specific device/browser/network config piss off reCAPTCHA, and there's nothing we can do about it. AFAIK only the account registration/report endpoints require it, so the vast majority of the time you wouldn't even notice.
