I wonder if ppl have done this kinda story without the revenge /tragedy aspect tho I guess that kinda "shoujo manga" plot would've given her a glow up or the "fat girl loses weight" kinda thing
While looks shouldn't matter /everyone ages i half expected some college sleazeball to try to seduce girls like her bc it'd be "easier" (versus some that are self aware/have their guard up and suspicious of a "hot guy" hitting on them)
But dang I imagine it's prolly not a coincidence that Karin targeted her partner to begin with
