i mean usually being in debt you can't get out of (unless japan is generous to ppl to where there'd be subsidized/group housing [idk how common homeless women is for there versus men]) would lead to you losing ur home but short of murder i imagine anything's fair game lol

I was thinking she'd like, reveal to Karin who she is finally, 'bait' her into physically attacking her and then having the cops come and arrest her lol being a criminal would also ruin ur reputation/make it hard for you to have a normal life, if not just being unable to have any kinda 'luxury' lifestyle even if some places still hire criminals/don't pay as much

Ooooh I didn't think about that. Having Karin attack her and having the cops is a good final piece since she did the same thing. Sumire does want Karin to know her feelings about betrayal and having the public turn on you

i vaguely feel like there was some j/kdrama or webtoon that might've had something like that. but yeah other than outright 'framing' someone for a crime even if they're terrible, sometimes it's easy to actually get them to do a serious crime altho idk if she'd just go on probation for just assault with her hands versus her ending up getting ahold of a weapon
