"Toy/plaything" is more accurate but i guess even Karin has enough self awareness to say that or she has a delusional def of friendship since she's never had any genuine ones (tho I wonder how her parents were like bc other than that one phone call cutting her off they must've tolerated a lot before unless she was good at hiding it)
Considering how tough kanji is I wonder how an "old lady's" handwriting would look like as opposed to neat so it can be read properly (must be sucky if you make a small kanji mistake to where it changes an answer and get points off , I did scantron tests tho surprised no teacher ever complained about my messy handwriting lol)
