wonder how much a voice changer works tho i'd think there'd be a separate customer hr/rep compared to the salesman themselves

lol i half expected her to hire some male host/stripper to be a 'handsome/charming' delivery guy to seduce her but i guess it's more of a slow burn for now

Umm, how are you planning on being the one to cheer him up, when he thinks its your fault his wife is mad about not getting a present? Even if you show a invoice, etc, it shouldn't clear up his feelings of being blamed for trusting you even if he eventually decides it was someone elses fault.

Show video evidence of the delivery person actually showing up and ringing the doorbell but not getting a response, tell the husband 'I guess your wife was out getting laid when the present showed up,' problem solved

Many people share surname in Japan (and western countries too) so unless hers was a really inusual one he would only think " oh they have the same surname, what a coincidence" since she looks completely different to the point of being called a beauty in comparison to her below average looks of before

pretty sure the person never showing up in the first place/she said 'leave it to her' and purposefully didn't order it (b/c i think something as fancy as a bouquet/nice gift would still be left at the door even if they don't open the door to pick it up) but i'm sure she'd make some kinda excuse like "something happened with the delivery service/i accidentally got the date wrong" or so

yeah it did seem pretty common but i would think if she'd bother with plastic surgery she'd also go all out and change both surname and first name. or some kinda clever 'kanji' trick where they're still similar but written differently or so

Might depend on how much they spend, but I think karen 'retired' from being an OL after getting married and depending on their lifestyle /daily expenses it probably isn't too much, because a handbag for anniversary isn't too unreasonable versus like every other week/'just because' (while i'm not a 'handbag' type of person, i understand maybe having a couple as 'backups' but I prolly raise a brow/side eye someone getting a new bag each year or so other than them showing up to parties/special events 'cause if i hadn't lost it i'd prolly still be using the same bag i had in high school lol)

Probably are trying to keep the story on reasonable realistic terms (not going Juujika route at least for now), changing your name is one thing, changing your surname is more complicated due to legal reasons, and she doesnt seem to have the money and/or contacts to splurge on such a minor detail specially if its not a super rare surname that could bring suspìcions upon her
