I mean cliffhangers are a staple in stuff like this altho I wouldn't be surprised if ppl were meant to read a full volume at once

I imagine the live action condenses it pretty well, the two subbed eps I watched did do the usual "preview of next ep" tho translators don't always sub that part

Cliffhangers I get and yes happen all the time but that’s more like “I did X and then Y... but now Z?”
"What is Z?” Is the question in that case.
This one is clearly saying, “I did...”

yeah tho i imagine if she stuck her in a room with karin for thirty mins she'd be like "I get it now. go ahead" xD;

in the live action version i believe she invites karin to some cafe or whatever with shibata sitting at a nearby table overhearing how she basically considered Kippei to be an "ATM" and still not changing her party girl ways/basically talking about spending his money/it's convenient to keep him around and not divorce to show her how horrible Karin was
