I'm not surprised you wouldn't remember when he got it. It's all the way back in Chapter 2 page 10. Where he says he got Demon Sword for the low price of 1 SP from the Skill Board. Which makes it sound like another Goddess of Fate nudge for him to pick it. The Level 2 Upgrade is a whopping 1000 SP (chapter 39).

"Noble Phantasm", huh. Nice ref and all, but this manga is in such a sorry state. Like, I feel like we've been stuck in this house starting part for years (but in reality just over a year, I think). So many isekai/fantasy mangas just don't get updates anymore or take too long (either TL or pacing). That's not counting the axed stuff. This is depressing...
