Not surprising Yun Hao is indignant about his treatment by the family, but shouldn't blame MC for it and decide things based on how the MC acts. Comment about cultivation being based on Enhancement pills is basically saying that he got his levels with pills and not practice or cultivation. It's like the difference between a newbie paying money to become lvl60 in a game and a veteran player who earned their way to lvl60 through time and hard work. Newbie is still a newbie so has no experience using the skills, battling, or possible combos can use. While a veteran player knows what the skills can and can't do, how and when to use them, how to strategize around usage and cooldowns, how to move and use skills in battle and how to chain them in more devastating combos.
Li family probably interested in garden because of the spirit beast along with depriving Yun family of a major source of income. Judging by the small prints it's probably either really young and/or weak so would be easier and less costly to catch it compared to a healthy, fully grown adult version. Usual template is a spirit beast is stronger, more intelligent and can use magic or abilities than the normal animal it's based off of. Probably also a lot of bragging rights and face for a family that is able to tame and use a spirit beast too.
