Reminds me of Gurren Lagann and real life. Over time humans become complacent, relying on technologies that are strong, effectively making them weaker. One example is how if someone was sent into the wild they wouldn’t be able to survive. Another on is how people rely on computers (CAD and the like) to make things and test them.
