I really don't agree and understand the mc for the first time in the story. Even if he's "saving their lives" this still seems like too much of a disadvantage. And if he knows they were going to die, what's the point of giving them this. Yeah, this deal just seemed way too dumb to me. If anyone thinks different, please explain to me.
