@Khetar I think more that it is the MC who is at fault it is him who told her to do that after all without forgetting that to become like that she had to be tortured, drugged or raped unceasingly what enters within the framework of the torture.
It's illogical I don't think a person can change and become like that all of a sudden, so technically it's not her fault but the MC's fault.
