Other than the 'rarity' of exotic pets surprised he actually cares about something to call them his 'buddies' or so versus just considering them possessions

Other than them having poison in them i don't think all the reptiles would have sharp enough teeth to devour him if not chopping him up first (the 'illegal comment' aside i assume the 'reptile land' sign outside implied that 'normal' ppl were buying it and other than snakes some ppl don't buy super dangerous pets unless the location was also in a shady part of the city)

I imagine he'll have a similar punishment tho
