In the WN Camyu made the contract with Seire because at the point they met she was literally half dead.
When the spell rebounded It fried all of her nervous system, broke her magic circuits, and (in her own words) killed half her brain so by this point she was half dead so when Seire made the contract, Camyu had no other choice but to accept it or just give up and die, the deal was suppose to be Seire takes over Camyus body completely but because of her uncles/masters spell (the one that saved her from the rebound) the deal was altered.
The new deal was Camyu still lives as Camyu but she must give her body over to Seire at night a 50 50 split, with the deal (all tho altered) struck Seire fully healed their body (demon magic is crazy) and they both continued to look for Birch's soul.
They never went back to the family castle they just disappeared.
A funny thing to me is that even after making a deal with a demon Camyu still remains in the light as quite literally she only controls her body in the day time.
