I want to mention that the "Hulan" referenced on page 15 is most likely James Houran, PhD.

He released a paper cowritten by Rense Lange, PhD, where they sent 22 people with a median age of 30 to explore different rooms of an abandoned theater, while telling half of them that it was haunted. Sure enough, the experiences by those who believed the place was haunted (as opposed to just being renovated) were far more intense.
