I think he's a fine man with the beard too but that's medieval nobles we're talking here so... DX
While I get what you're trying to defend, it's an overreaction from what he actually wrote. "Most women" might be an over exaggeration, but he didn't specify all women should fall for this one "true way of thinking".So if a woman has her own taste that is different from what you expect, it is not real and bad? You sound like some kind of neckbeard incel who grew a beard and expects every woman to kneel before you because of it.
Not in Japan, where the author is from. There, having a beard is a sign of being unkempt and filthy, especially if you are not old. It is obvious that the author will create social norms based on his own country, your post makes no sense at all and is completely stupid.
actually, japan used to look up for beard and facial hair on men. it during meiji restoration and westernization that having beard synonymous as barbaric, unclean and messy. that sentiment keeps until today. So if a woman has her own taste that is different from what you expect, it is not real and bad? Granted, that was some childish shit after his initial two posts, but you were in the wrong first. If you're going to start an account, even if it's second account so you don't incriminate your main, try not to be so defensive over little things like this. Or don't, it's your prerogative.
That's not entirely limited to Asian cultures. At various times more androgynous, or even effeminate, men have been preferred in Western culture as well, especially among the upper class and/or nobility. Take the Renaissance era in Europe, for example. Noble men back then wore as much makeup and frilly clothing as the women, if not more. In recent times as well we occasionally see this, especially around certain musical genres (hair metal, emo, etc.)The culture clash of this stuff is always hilarious to me. Like, it's Asian beauty standards for men, but in a medieval European fantasy setting. The idea that in that setting that a powerful masculine warrior wouldn't be in high demand by noblewomen is laughable, if actual history was anything to go by. Heck even in a lot of Asian those types of men absolutely killed it.
