Mmmmm but then how he was able to live so far and become an adult? Because dude, it sounds weird to me. It'd be more credible if he says that once he falls in love with someone, then he jus can eat the flowers with that person's essence or something like that.

Because if it was something it happened to him as a child, then it means he can endure many years without flowers and he can be fine if the MC gives him food once in a while. Just saying.
