The stories good so far, but the bullshit the mc has to go through just to break out of slavery is insane. There's a reason that there's a system to get out of slavery, and the Lord just doesn't give a fuck. Like, if a 1 in 1M prodigy has to struggle that much, what's the point of trying if you're anything less. It would actually crush the morale of the rest of the slaves, which I imagine isn't good for the Lord.
