This is one thing I really hate in manhua, first they say that people of higher combat power are inverdibly important and valuable, and rare, then when MC gets to that power level or close BAM, spam them everywhere, MC literally one step from reaching the war god level and found a band of robbers that are war gods.
All the previous chapters wargods were able to cause immense damage with a simple blow, but they seen MC and escaped withotu even trying to fight back.
MC is in incredible dumbness is surprised that a old man didn't use a cure all, or possibly just a super anti venom treasure on himself, he is old and sick, probably the treasure wouldn't make him live longer, better to get money and resources to enjoy his last days or his family, the fact he was in a simple building makes clear he got no money.
