I love this manga but Chiaki is such a terrible love interest, easily the worst girl in the manga. I've never seen anyone embody the "damsel in distress" trope more faithfully. all she does is get kidnapped constantly and pine after Maeda-kun and say "noooo don't fight!" with the dopiest fucking look on her face.
