I have mixed feelings. I'm wondering if Shimura-sensei's storytelling style gels well -- or not -- with parallel-world sci-fi. On the one hand, her storytelling already tends to be a bit opaque at times; on the other hand, that particular sci-fi genre often becomes mind-bending. Most parallel-world stories are presented in a straightforward manner, which provides "mooring" for the reader so they can follow what's happening. That isn't always the case here. Oh well, at least the text is fairly unambiguous.
