I came here looking for slop. And I got the slop (BOY was it really trying to be something different). But it actually became annoying to read. It forces way too damn much.

Nah, just another rather uninteresting story.
All the plot twists at the beginning are unnecessary; the story lacks much personality.
It starts with the protagonist learning to be an assassin with a touch of mystery, but then it turns into that bullshit of "I don't want to attract attention," "I don't want to get strong," "I don't want to see the world and meet interesting people."
Oh my god, the guy evolves so fast and gains so many skills that if he were a hardworking kid he would already own a huge house, at least tier A, and no one could bother him living his life. Furthermore, there's no romance; the relationship went from zero to one hundred in two chapters... And from what I've heard, later on it's just going to turn into a big, boring harem.
The story was somewhat interesting at first, but the art is quite bad, the story is bland, and in the end it just became about farming monsters. If at least the slice-of-life and the romance were good, it would be worthwhile... 3/10
