Oh I didn't realize it actually quite popular trope. The one I read was in manga plus. The ghost got married with a teenager and then the guy really like her but she didn't know how to react or something like that.

Serialization has its own risks. There was another pre-serialization series about a boy living in a flat inhabited by a ghost girl, a comfy dark comedy sorts of. Then it turned into an actual series, and the mc personality changed.. ..to what most would describe as a sexual creep. A lot of readers were turned off by that and the scanlation stalled last I heard of it. Unfortunately I've forgotten the name of it?

There is a better one then this one.

This is better Kuchi ga Saketemo Kimi Ni Wa, but sadly Mangadex took down the translations. It is complete also. Just have to find all translate on different site.

Yep Its called Doukyonin ga Konoyo no Mon janai Rensai-ban or My Roommate isn't from this World. I'm not one of those types to get offended by perverts in fiction, but there is a difference between sneaking a peak on her panties under the kotatsu vs getting her drunk to do whatever. It definitely made him more unlikable compared to pre-serialization.
