i've got tons of issue about this but i can't really pin-point all of them, all i can really just say is that i forgot that the mc is but a man-child and nothing like an adult so it's my fault for assuming he's gonna act mature. he pinpointed major problems but he can't solve for shit. but it's also probably that his emotional state right now is influenced by the OG body so idk if i'm gonna drop this or not since it's painful how he acts so pathetically for someone his age and i don't know if this pathetic shit is the actual mc or just the og body

Considering the circumstances, it's decent for now. The issue is way too slow a start though.

Hes showing clear signs of maturity even to the point of sacrificing himself to appease the bullies. Is it the best option, no. But remember he has a very weak foundation and it will take a while until a chance for his strong personality to actually be distinguishable to appear.

Slowing opening up the world building is fine, but I would prefer if the pacing picked up from this point. The way this chapter ends is somewhat promising in that aspect...

Dude the only reason I'm not gonna drop this story is because of the harem tag, the art and I'm hooked by the worldbuilding. But for fuck sake, this MC almost made me drop that shit. You fucking loser, even the pig mob has more balls than you.

This really doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Or maybe it does later, if it does then the storytelling is probably still dogshit.

I was under the impression they introduced butao's feelings to justify him being a coward in certain scenarios, his personality prior to being isekai'd didn't seem as submissive in fact he was incredibly goal oriented. They've now had him seemingly of his own accord lose all desire to gain anything beyond survival and to protect butao's family not of butao's volition but of his own.

If he can have enough of a desire to protect them and perhaps his sister why can't he want to better himself and enjoy the world he loves so much he had little to no investment in his adult life outside of it? Dude has figures of all the girls that are now walking in the flesh around him but has no desire to even interact with them on a baseline level?

It seems like there'll be a shift in his mentality down the line but even this baseline makes no sense, they introduced the copout of Butao being able to influence his thoughts and behaviour but made it so he didn't force MC to be a weakling when his sister was being bullied but instead to actually step up. He then offers himself to get beaten up later because ??????????

Absolute dogshit motivations that make no sense, like why acknowledge that the MC is fighting someone else's thoughts and feelings then have him harbour the lamest and weakest actions he takes.
