Ive said it last chapter, and Im gonna say it again. I really love this wholesome approach with the ghost stories. Given the teachers background, this couldve been easily turned into a ghost revenge story, thankfully thats not the case.
And I guess this kinda answer Yuu's thought on why Kuyo hasnt ascended yet even after 30 years. I guess its because since she was never felt alive to begin with, she long to live, to have a home to return to, and to love and to be loved. But all that is next to impossible, especially when Asashi didnt come anymore. Thats why Asashi not coming to see her broke her hard. And all this makes the teacher not ascending yet but staying by her side, waiting for Kuyo to be happy, and not lonely, even tho theres a chance that Kuyo wont be saved is very wholesome.
As I said in previous chapters, Even in her death, she stands by her dream. To be a caring teacher. Man, she just became my dearest character in this series.
