What a downer turn around, you do NOT pile up debt upon debt or working a risky business starting with unsettled DEBT.

Verily a breaking bad direction.

the trope is mainstream but somehow I feel a fresh air, instead of another "we gonna build hot bath" "we gonna make soy sauce" "we gonna make [insert japanese thingy here]" the MC actually utilizing to something that already exist and used on the region

although there is still something kinda off, if the region a frontier and people spend their time trying to survive and the house only exist for 2-3 generations than it is plausible for the people didnt realize the potential of the nature but if it +5 generations then these people are dumb

idk what they mean "susceptible by moisture" in ch 1 as maple tree itself make a good firewoods, or it just the sap that have same properties, but the properties of the sap tied to the properties of the trunk

O . o

Spends 38/3.8 silver for a load of poor quality iron ore, and yet pays his soldiers 5 silver each for an afternoon of light manual labor.

I'm not sure if he under paid for the ore, or over paid his employees...

Technically tree syrup is something they do in Japan as well, just not as popular as the stuff that comes out of Canada. So just give it a few more chapters, I'm sure soy beans and potatoes will be planted soon and they will have rice paddies and hotsprings all sorted out in a few years.

yeah, kinda predict it as well, lets just see how the narrative goes and how the author justified it since this one kinda quite story heavy than most that laid-back and light in story

@Yazas

NGL, I don't really care either way. Manga is mostly written for the Japanese population and we just kinda get to tag along. I just hope it doesn't turn into another food porn comic with sidedish fan service.

more food porn development please~~~~

ngl... by following the Weakest Tamer style in making the reincarnation less of the Japanese roots blooming, they just act as Philip's Gaia Library. :dogkek:

He said they had a shortage of affordable fuel for the winter, and yet his plan requires burning a lot of it to refine the sap.

Shouldn't you do health test for the syrup? To see if there's health risk drinking it too much.
