This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the way the father handled the situation around Itsuki’s dismissal was actually good. Yeah, he was an asshole with how he treated his daughter, but that’s beside the point.
The thing is, instead of becoming your typical furious father—or in this case, a boss—who lashes out and belittles his subordinates in public, he chose to admit that it was his own mistake for accepting Itsuki in the first place. It must’ve taken a lot of patience to stay calm after falling out with a potential client who could’ve saved his family’s financial situation. So kudos to him for handling it well
