It's kinda weird to see a manga that's about a father-daugther dynamic have them be seperated for an academy arc.

It should have been "hart" not "heart" for the deer monster's species name. Hart refers to deer. Though I guess the author didn't know that harts are older male deer, unless of course monsterization causes a doe to change sexes. Since a doe wouldn't normally have large antlers.

I’d like to see a manga where the protag calls out other characters for behaving suspiciously. Like, “dude, why are you touching your glasses so much?” and “woah, where’d all those shadows come from?’

could also just be a mistake from the translator for confusing the sexes
