MC dude must have been really pissed off by his old team quitting before he got his own term finished, seeing how he lowers himself so much that he starts to argue with a high school girl who has never even visited a dungeon before. I doubt he would normally do that, but after getting the rug pulled from under his feet, it makes sense his nerves would be as tight as piano strings. Realistically it's difficult to blame his old comrades, though. They are third class old men past their prime, yet they did manage to survive the whole five years. Who would want to continue even a day longer? It's like courting death.

In fact, it's a perfect arrangement to have a veteran teach noobs. Those girls might be first class, but they have zero actual experience. Even if they didn't get themselves killed, they would still face a lot of unnecessary trouble by having to proceed by trial and error. With Igami there, they can potentially avoid all of that.
