LOL That "I'm a broom" had me confused. Thought it was a translation or grammar error.
I wonder if Ravel the child noticed something strange in Lee's apology. Or maybe this memory was just memorable enough that he remembered the apology even years later and, upon reflection, had a realization. I don't think it's common for people to write children outside of cute, genius, or annoying so I just found that scene curious.
