The most important thing for Shin's rewrite ability will be finding out why it worked seemingly once. My bet is he can make it work again on the same target if he can adapt his "order" so that his target's psyche does not numb it down (un)conciously.

Example: imprinting "Stop!" several times in a row won't work, but what if he mixes imprints with a "Swerve left!" or "Hot!" or "Itchy!" (either could make them drop their weapon). Some seconds of hesitance just enough to land a good hit
