Happy for the characters but I really hope the next part is going to return the focus on Mariko. She's a really interesting protagonist and lately she's been nearly out of the picture. Even learning her son was getting cuckolded on a daily basis was swiped under the rug in 1 scene. More Mariko and Kuro adventures please!

I'm surprised this was such a unilaterally happy ending, but I guess since it was a bit of a side story, it makes sense. Excited to get back to Mariko's journey! I think this may end up being the foundation of her next big story.
