Bit of a jump, but I'm sure we don't really need to see volumes 3 through 13.

Wow... I barely even recognize anyone. Futaba looks at least somewhat similar, but I recognized her by her mannerisms. Teru I only recognized because of the glasses, and I wouldn't have known Youko at all if she hadn't been referred to by name.

It's hard to tell from just a single chapter, but it seems that the humor doesn't have quite the edge it used to have - not quite as much emphasis on negative qualities - Futaba being an idiot, Teru being a demon, Youko being a loser and Yamaji being creepy and pathetic.

Still - I love the series and have missed it, so it's good to see more, even if the time skip is a bit disorienting.
