Huh, this manga is going downhill, slowly but surely. Makes zero sense for them to act like that... how is sex going to distract someone from an exam or somehow impact them negatively? NOT having sex has been nothing BUT a distraction for them. It's insane. I don't know who the mangaka is... but it's seeming likely that it's just some virgin chick that doesn't know how normal humans act. It feels very... like pseudo-religious, "stay pure" nonsense to me. It's rough man.
What a shame, what a shame, what a damn shame.
Dude, you have not been in a physical relationship when young, huh?
Pretty easy for that to become ALL you think about.
Pretty easy to start relying on that for stress relief. Then you get used to it, and it's less of an issue.

If they'd started a while ago, this would be a non-issue.

Not a good time to start.

"No one would not have sex if they have the chance!"

Just write fan fiction if you want them to fuck. I'm sure there are DJs if you want.

lmao why its the couples choice..? like what works for one couple might not work for others and thats ok... there is no indication in this manga that the mangaka is doing it so that they stay "pure", but rather just exploring other aspects of a gay relationship that doesn't involve sex. we've known, from the beggining, that a key idea of ssmy is to break down bl sterotypes which usually involves a lot of sex. obviously sex isn't bad in a relationship or story, but many bl authors make it the focal point of their writing and I'm pretty sure harasono wants to avoid doing that to push different ideas

Sensei cares a lot about getting representation right.

I was excited, but not shocked when
it turned out Hirano was ace. I don't even think it was planned, initially .It's just the most logical explanation for his attitude earlier in the story. I read him as ace slightly longer than "ok, this is intentional"

It's not like Shirahama, who had his role bumped up from "mob who is around occasionally and wound up" to "Mr Internalised Homophobia" to service the plot. Seems very intentional. That's fine.
It's just way more obvious, because Shirahama wasn't even drawn well until he was mouth-tackling Tashiro with the "People hide that sort of thing!!!" (That's a more accurate translation than the scans. Immediately told me everything I needed to know. Everything he has said since is so amazingly, painfully real...
