Almost always these people work at their respective embassies. Given their diplomatic ties and that they were not doing anything illegal, they will be released in the hour. This was pretty poor decision given that they will be more wary of her tricks and be more unpredictable in their handling of her.

Also: Why did she need to be seen going out of the base. Why not find a new location of teleportation shopping? or to completely hide, use the mercs as a middleman and give them 5-15% cut of the transaction. Now they know her face and its now a possibility they could track you back to your home. No more easy sleeping in that world... What if the Japanese decide they want your abilities and freeze your bank account?

She isn't really using the bank though, she pays for everything either directly using gold coins or by trading in coins for local currency. Them locating her house isn't much of a concern either, she teleports around a lot which makes her hard to track, and even if someone wants to try something they're kept in check by the countries with their own interests in her. Seeing how none of them have manage to identify that Mitsuha is a person from their own world and not actually other-world royalty even though she revealed herself quite a while back, I doubt that they'd even be able to locate her house anyway. For now, she's basing her activities as an other-world princess/queen out of that base, giving the impression that she's staying there or that the base has something that lets her freely travel between worlds.

Just as an aside, the mercenary base is in America while her house is in Japan. They can't follow her home unless she deliberately leads them, and they can't actually use trackers either because she'll leave them behind when she teleports as long as she has no intention of bringing the tracker along.

If they try looking her up using her picture the most they're going to get is that a girl that looked similar fell off a cliff shortly after the rest of her family passed away in an accident some time ago, but if she and her family weren't terminally online then there might not be any searchable photographic evidence she ever existed prior to suddenly showing up on the opposite side of the planet bearing otherworldly gifts and performing miracles. She probably doesn't even actually own the house they lived in anymore unless the house was fully paid off and/or no one has found reason to repossess the house yet.
