Well he still has a dragon god soul, and she's a lamia.
I doubt they'd age as fast as a human.
Also Doran has a fully fledged dragon trickster goddess as a rival/friend/love interest.
I doubt the red dragoness would let her favorite dragon god die again
That's not even including the gods, the nature one being quite a good friend of his
