Scrolling up in fullscreen causes UI to appear

When in fullscreen mode, in the latest version of Firefox on my desktop PC running Windows 10, scrolling up automatically causes the Previous, Next, Exit, and Menu buttons to appear in the four corners of the screen, and the progress bar to appear along the bottom. Scrolling back down causes them to disappear again. This is the same behavior that occurs when you single-click in the middle of the page, to bring up or close the UI. But I don't want it to be happening when I scroll! I can't find anything in the reader settings that looks like it might be causing this behavior, or a way to toggle it off. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Tested on Firefox 130, can't replicate this issue. Disable addons and try an incognito tab, see if it's still happening.

I disabled addons, then tried signing into a private browsing window, with my reader settings all the same way, and it's still happening. I should have added in the OP that I have image fit set to fit width, but not height; this means the page is zoomed in so I can't see the entire height at once, which is why I need to scroll in the first place. So this is a bug, then, not some reader setting I'm missing? Any other ideas for what I can try, or what to do next?

I see this was moved to the support section instead of the bug report section, but the impression I'm getting is that this is a bug. Are there are any other troubleshooting steps I can take?

Upon further experimentation, I've confirmed that the issue occurs after all scrolling, whether that be using the arrow keys, the mouse scroll wheel, or holding and dragging the vertical scroll bar at the right of the screen.

Cannot reproduce it using Firefox 132(2024-09-23) on Windows 11.

It does happen in Pale Moon 33.3.1... but its Pale Moon, nothing more needs to be said.
