The first half of this chapter felt great, but the second half left me conflicted.
Aaron is one of the most soulless male protags I can remember reading, and I've read hundreds of these stories. He is literally only a pretty face. He could be a shiba inu and the story would function almost the same.
It's weird because I like the main character. Her whole family dynamic is entertaining. I enjoyed the conflict with the antagonist. But the male lead is such a boring painting.

Function, sure. But in all other regards it'd be a thousand times more satisfying, because there's no such thing as a shiba inu with as little personality and charisma as Aaron, lol
