I'm quite satisfied with this ending actually, as much as it was a cliche "and this is how all the characters are remembered" monologue.

The fact that we weren't forced to endure Aaron's nonexistent painting of a personality for the rest of their romance alone wins stars in my book, because everything else in the story is enjoyable.

That was a decent enough story overall. Probably would've liked it a lot more if the main love interest had a single iota of the charisma that the other characters displayed, but oh well. People fall in love with cardboard cutouts all the time, right?
