Every now and then I take a dip into the delightfully strange world of shoujo when boredom strikes, and damn, why do the male leads have to be genuinely dogshit? One's an asshole who's all like "I don't wanna see your face," and then suddenly "you want to leave? No, now you can never escape me," and the other has some strange-ass intro scene. What's the obsession with possessive as fuck MLs in this genre anyway, especially with headstrong FLs that should rightfully hate it but somehow end up torn between two psychos within five chapters.

Ikr? There have been so many series I've read that have a ML whose job is to basically obstruct the FL and be better than her in the creepiest way possible when the FL begins to stand up for herself. It's disgusting, it's exhausting, it's making me violent because I wish for all the worst to every ML like this.

At least this one showed his true colours so soon, there are series where I realised this is where it was headed only after 20 or 50 chapters...
