Man I've missed reading romance so badly. I know this isn't a shoujo but I think one of the reasons I stopped reading them was because they were always filled with needless conflicts (love triangles, dumb misunderstandings, lack of communication, etc.) which I never enjoyed, and this is such a breath of fresh air it makes me wanna explore shoujos again.

In that case read The Dangers In My Heart of you haven't already, the story has real heart, romantic progression and believable characters. It also does really well at subverting all the usual manga tropes.
