Yeah  Seiba Zoe is looking pretty suspicious now..... or like you say it just Salome is gifted with bewitching aura that affect others.

I think you are right. We have that one scene where Chloe was falling for Salome's charms and "repelled" it without too much of an issue. The bracelet being passive also fits neatly with the situation.

Man I do like the setting but the exposition dumps just keep interrupting the flow of the story for me. Wish there was a bit more showing and a bit less telling happening.

They really do keep on kneecapping the investigation by completely unnecessarily withholding information from Chloe. If you'd explained that bit about the numbers on the bracelet to her, she would probably know when it activated because she would have been checking it herself.
