Why the hiatus from Mangadex?

If I have to imagine for a reason from a neutral stance, it'd be it's a month people want to take a break, and to cut down the work, since they'll have to upload on their website which is their main outlet of income and a place they'll want to maintain anyway, cutting out MangaDex is very logical.

My scenario is, one - they want to keep their site being relevant and going, and two - they want to cut down work this month > then stop upload on Mangadex and upload only on their own site. But then, people will flamed them for being greedy and funnel traffic into their site > then just deactivate the ad, a sacrifice needed for taking a break.

But, all that is my imagination.

No, it's entirely about getting traffic to their site by manipulating their release schedule, and then suckering impatient people into paying for their patreon in order to make more money. Don't buy into this bullshit about cutting down the workload. The work to TL and clean and typeset is the hard part. Uploading on MD doesn't cut down on their workload in the slightest, it only takes a few minutes to upload a new chapter here.

This is purely a money grab, and is scummy as fuck.
