Well, humanity at it's finest, everyone is prejudiced to some point. Can't really blame being afraid of monsters if most are feral and them being sentient isn't a guarantee they won't attack.

Took them a whole month to chart a map, wonder how hero is doing now... kinda bad writing if they're suddenly not looking on their progress together. Reminds me of "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha" story but it tried best to cover both sides simultaneously, but they too didn't interact with each other making them distant...
