It's a weird side effect of having all these titles being reuploaded, to see all the ones you were for some reason disapointed of. Like a parade of ex-lovers you didn't want to face again.

They still have a nice nostalgic feeling, but you never want to see them again, maybe because the later half left a bitter taste.
Or other related issues they experienced while reading this series they once fell in love with then somehow fallen out of love with it.

I think thats what teriguu meant.

I guess my comment needs the spoiler tag.
This is best read in one sitting, before It was so slow coming, and some of the story became painful to read. I stopped before the end, but I reread it today. Ah man, so much better, and the end is so worth it. p.s. the clues to the end are in the very beginning.

To me this series is such a waste of an interesting concept that I found compelling at first but very quickly devolves from there.

It feels like it should be a more character driven fantasy romance but spends inordinate amounts of time om slice of life nonsense that usually amounts to very little or nothing at all, when I felt the focus should really be between the two leads growing and changing together while slowly falling in love, which instead feels like it happens really abruptly at the very end.

I think the biggest missed mark was with the development of Emilio who had the setup for a really interesting arc, of being tired of all the politics and looking to find a partner who would want him with no ulterior motives, and seemed like he was looking for actual companionship and affection. However despite all of this doesn't realize he is tainted by his own office and attempts to force a relationship using his status, money, and power, and slowly realizing this, overcomes these flaws and becomes a more understanding and compassionate person.

But I feel like there's plenty of stuff like this throughout the story, and it gets frustrating quickly.

Haha! I read this such a long time ago and just remembered about it again! Personally I liked it even though I’m not a fan of gender-bender stuff, I still like it and in fact recommended this to a couple of Peaple. I think one of the reasons why I was drawn to this manga is because of its sense of humor and it’s warmth, I remember after I finished reading this manga, I felt very happy! Because almost through out the whole manga I laughed and enjoyed the life that the characters lived. I think once in a while reading something funny and heartwarming wouldn’t hurt. The only problem is that after finishing this manga you’ll feel a bit sad that it ended. But I guess from there on out you create your own continuation of the story:) There are other works of this author that I think you should read, they are pretty interesting too;)

i remember why i hated this manga
not only does the prince force the guy to change his gender but he also manipulate him to agree to marry him
i mean if he truly loved him he should let him be a male not forcing this sh*t on him

it's called mental manipulation you trick your victim by presenting a certain option over and over again and once until they believe that anything you do is for them and you are by no mean taking their freedom because once they are too attached you pretend to give them what they originally wanted knowing well they won't chose it
this strategy worked so well for almost all criminal on our world you got for example one accident where a man looked a 13 years old girls for about 10 years with raping her and all but it seem like by time she come so attached to the scum to the point once he was arrested she killed herself by starving
and you got third world country where they convince children to slowly accept marrying before 10
basically if any person put himself way above a victim and a lot of people around him agree with what he is saying and he continue to argue his case to an underage boy you got yourself a successful Psychological manipulation
as people adapt quickly to any change it's easy to change their mind on something and accepting something by forcing it over a period of time and claiming its good

@me474 Holy fuck, dude after turning him into a girl, he never did a single thing to her, and she gradually fell in love with him because of who he was as a person, a single option thing is incorrect since aside from being a girl, the female MC had complete freedom and the prince was the one who had to run on her every command. One time he even tried to limit her freedom for her own safety, she destroyed his stuff and he apologized profusely. After he tried to distance himself from her, she got extremely sad and told him to never leave her as she loved him completely and never wanted to leave his side. He even outright gave her the drug to turn back into a man, and left, she was in way bette position by then, loved by everyone and extremely popular, yet she didn't take it and waited for him to come back.

it was talking about general case but not all cases require violence but let's talk about this case alone :
force him to be female with no mean to go back slowly the boy adapted to his new gender and have come to accept and embrace it since he is stuck that way and since a lot of people from the prince side convince him of being a girl is okay he came to accept it more
on the second strategie to make him fall for him :
he did the old trick of being always near him until he come to accept him as a close person and little by little thinking that maybe he should agree and marry him
yes he did give him the option to go back but the boy become so attached in this point and did get used to this daily routine to go back it became his normal life that's why if he wanted to know what he really wanted he should be given this choice since the beginning

@me474 He was really not around all the time, it was shown time and time again that the prince tended to be very busy with his job. And yes, him forcing Ryouma to become a girl was a problem, which was looked up on, no one from the prince side tried to convince Ryouma, hell, the prince's side actually didn't want him to be with Ryouma. The girls all wanted Ryouma to be away from the prince because they were jealous of her as well, and the prince and Ryouma weren't even together that long, only a few months at max. Ryouma fell in love with the prince on her own, her life was complete crap before the prince came in, and it became much better on every front after him. And the point about the prince not giving Ryouma a choice was precisely he point which was reiterated multiple times as being a wrong thing on his part, which he then tried to rectify.

the prince side attitude was literary : you worthless scum should be happy that the prince have chosen you instead of our beauty
a good attitude should be like : it must be hard on you. you poor thing you shouldn't agree to his offering
and let me remind you on the one shot the prince literary threaten to kill him if he doesn't accept his offer
sure the final product was tuned down but the prince literary in the beginning gave the boy no choice to say no just look at chapter 4 page 6 if this wasn't forcing someone to do something i don't know what will make you consider to be alright as he tell him if he doesn't want to marry him then he will destroy earth
and by the way the prince mentality was homophobic and selfishes to the extreme what he project to the boy is literary if you won't be my wife then i don't need to see your face ever again
