she kinda does seem like the type who'll end up being killed off without ever confessing and regretting it while dying or confessing on her death bed, doesn't she?
I've seen this kind of lore (ancient inhuman-beings fathering humanity and the consequences of their actions dropping on to the MCs) used elsewhere, but it feels extremely compact here. You'd expect something so alien to be drip fed more slowly so that we can take it all in at a reasonable pace, but Ogino seems to believe that's just ready to be accepted, so he just has a character spill it all. And I honestly find that lazy.
This massive backstory needed to be revealed later and in pieces, or just get discarded for a simpler explanation.
There's a reason you start Bloodborne with werewolves and only get to "Cthulhian" beings around the mid-game.
Oh, well. At least the yuri is still cute and hot.
