While only a handful os species are considered "safe", it's more of a risk thing. The traditional rule of thumb is to avoid any species with venomm potent enough to be a threat to humans, but it's not because it "becomes poison". Basically all spider venom is just a bunch of proteins that only work when they find their way into the bloodstream and will be digested like other proteins in the stomach. However, if you happen to have stomach ulcers, or any other potential internal wounds there's a risk of said venom getting into your circulatory system and that's the issue, since you may not be aware of those. Of course it would have to survive the preparation method first, which usually involves deep frying, but it's possible for some species. Generally the ones considered safe are tarantulas and bird spiders, while any brightly colored ones are to bo avoided.I believe all are? All snakes are edible too, for example, it's just that you have to be cautious of where their venom is stored on their body. I believe with spider, so long as you cut of their head -- and I think the same is true for snakes -- you'll remove the source of their venom and they'll be safe to eat.
Actually, venom tends to be digestible as well, doesn't it? It's just that the more potent it is, the more likely it'll go from being a venom, to a poison when eaten. So best not to risk it.
"Aphrodisiacs" are just marketing and placebo. There is no known food that has any credible scientific evidence behind it for such an effect.Your coworker probably bought either a rancid one or a not very fresh one. Since balut is sold immediately after it's cooked by long periods of boiling. It's basically an aphrodisiac and guys going to have combat in the bedroom eat a lot before the action. It's high in cholesterol.
At one point they couldn't change, they had even lost their sword. I don't understand, it's very strange. The sister realized she fucked up by making the elf eat the dead baby against her will, so she forcibly swapped out with her brother to both hide her guilt and avoid Naga screaming at her for hours about wasting food she wanted.
I'm even farther on that line. I'm averse to the sight of meat and corpses (in person, photos, and detailed drawings), especially when it is whole like fish and birds, or a recognizable animal body part.Never heard of Balut before.. Just thinking i eat a developing bird or chicken embryos is already scary to me..

Now it's fxtanari; she should crack Naga and Anastasia.
hes Malaysian chineseWhat country of origin is the author?
I remember the whole incident since you used a blue light -rather than a red light- to flashy-thing me, and didn't make up a funny and believable story.Sorry guys. Y'all saw nothingView attachment 63388
I mean, his personality is certainly cuter. But they already looked like each other., so it's not like he looked cuter physically.Ishua just needs to take over full control and they would conquer whole island in few days.
They would also quickly regain food and water stability without Mirea's meddling and sabotage. She ain't even as cute as her brother!
You're worse off than Urano Motosu as MyneI'm even farther on that line. I'm averse to the sight of meat and corpses (in person, photos, and detailed drawings), especially when it is whole like fish and birds, or a recognizable animal body part.
I'm in the same realm as people being averse to slaughtering animals if they only eat store-bought meat, just with aversion to all end products in addition to the raw materials.
I remember being jumpscared in Spanish class when the teacher's presentation had a whole cooked piglet in it.![]()
There are perfumes that have a real effect."Aphrodisiacs" are just marketing and placebo. There is no known food that has any credible scientific evidence behind it for such an effect.
The characters in the story or the people in this thread? This group is such a riot.
No, there aren't but you're welcome to prove me wrong by linking to credible research. Good luck. There are perfumes that have a real effect.
..Sam O'nella by any chance? These ones are just so strange that I have no idea how anyone ever came up with it. It's not actually practical food like fried crickets or pupae (crickets tend to get in your teeth though. Pupae are great. Almost like pill-shaped mashed potatoes.) It just feels like gimmick food that became some sort of status symbol or ritual. Not the most fucked up food I've ever heard of but still pretty up there. The most fucked up food I've heard about so far is the Ortolan Bunting. What you do is it take a little Songbird stuff it full of grain while it's alive and then drown it in wine and roast it in fire. The fact that you just take the bird and put it in a box full of wine and let it drown just seems needlessly cruel and painful to the bird.
