I get that Aoi mom was trying her best to be independent since not only does her father ruin their marriage because he is a whalesexual and egocentric but also didn't support their family financially, but her leaving Aoi in hands of father or rather grandparents was wrong.

It's also very weird she didn't at least try being in contact, like sending letters or visiting once in a while, that's what made Aoi developing abandonment issues and being depressed.

She seems nice, but I'm not letting her off the hook yet...
