Yep, Taguchi nailed it. And our main heroine, she...I thought she bombed it. I guess with this blockhead you have quite a margin on how awkward and clunky you can be
But the highlight of the chapter for me was Seri. Her reactions on p.5 and p.9 were hilarious. And she is quite a maiden herself, she made my heart flutter too

It’s interesting that you mention this because I actually used “work” in my first draft, but I decided on “stuff” to better capture Seri’s casual and tomboyish speech present in the original Japanese.

Let me know what you think of this decision.

EDIT: Then again, after having a closer look at the direction of the speech bubble tail, it may actually be Murasaki speaking so I think you are in fact correct. I assumed it was Seri speaking as she had her mouth open in the panel, but upon closer inspection it’s more likely Murasaki.
