That comment Reo made "Alright no issues here" got raising my eyebrows since he notices Kokoha is in a bad situation but treats it like it is ok. Also setting up hidden cameras in their homes already has me saying things are getting worse (before that reveal in the last two pages). Can't wait to here him explain it is for the good of society or something. Thanks for the translations.

This is how he ends up getting exposed maybe? But it's too early in the series for that so most likely he isn't gonna give a fluff and let it continue so long as their combat efficiency increases hell, he might even end up revealing this to reds wife so red ends up becoming dependent on pink one way or another

Leo is warped but at the same time he genuiely fights for the sake of both his vengeance and humanity. And actually gives a shit about civilains. Its kinda fucked what he is doing now, like spying on his teammates, and fucking Momo. The thing is all those can be justified, and is kinda neccessary.

He did also say "More support is needed" in regards to it. The second you run the idea of a 1% increase in combat efficiency by removing the apparent domestic abuse is the second he goes ahead and murders a dude. "Sure, I killed a man. But now we save an additional 3-5 people per incident so it's a net gain for justice!"

The end does not justify the means. Just because he has the right to fix the issues facing the team, it does not give him justification to spy on his friends, and cheat on his wife. At this point, his sense of justice is already warped and it will only get worse from here.

He cheated on his wife so that Momo can fight properly, their powers is based off extreme and volatile emotions. If he didn't try to give Momo want she wants him, with her emotion being well love and the downsides of that, they could not protect people.

Momo emotional state being in the negative started the cheating thing. And him cheating on his wife so that Momo can fight, and thus protect people from getting killed by monsters justifies it. Leo could have died last chapter if he didn't feed into Momo's love of him. If he didn't two dead rangers at the very least, and lots of dead people. Also this chapter establishes the monsters are getting stronger also.

This but unironically.

Bro was put in a no win situation where he has to ensure the mental stability of the team and grow there bonds while also trying to juggle a family home life.
Yep. They could potentially replace Momo with someone more emotionally stable, which they've clearly done once before (since Reo's wife is the former Pink), but they would also have to either keep an emotionally unstable person on the group or leave an empty spot until a replacement could be found.

Either way, it'd be a drastic lowering of their combat potential and ability to save people against monsters that are explicitly growing stronger. It's a pretty fucked situation, but railing Momo in the bathroom at work is legitimately their best option at the moment.

I'm more curious as to why Blue chose to bring it up at this moment, since it's very obviously not only not harming the team, it's actually making them stronger.

I can also see that the aforementioned replacement scenario is probably going to be coming to fruition anyway; Blue's pretty clearly one of those totalitarians with stuff like this (calling it "vulgar" is a dead giveaway), so there's almost certainly no way he'll accept Reo's reasoning, which will probably lead to his untimely demise.

I mean from what the previous chapter showed, it seems he could just fire them and find a replacement.

I mean the other girl was scared she was gonna get fired after all.

He probably just doesn't wanna fire Momo for cause he feels she still tries her best despite her issues she gives.

It probably would also take time finding a replacement and training them or teaching them the ropes, and since the enemies are getting stronger they can't afford to find a replacement now.

He also probably has this "they are my teammates, my friends, I won't abandon them!" Mentally most MC's with justice complex have.

But yeah if the situation really called for it, he have just tried finding a replacement that would have been more emotionally motivated, he probably wouldn't have had to have an affair if that was the case.

This is honestly interesting. Yes, Leo is doing despicable things- but we've seen with the plant kaijin what would happen if he didn't.

The logical course of action would be to confide in someone else, i hope that's what happening here. Because clearly Reo can't handle the entire team's psychology on his own.
