Sexism aside, if we ignore the genders of Lyle and Ceres, they do have a point

While Lyle did say that Ceres had surpassed him in everything years ago, from what we actually see, the disowning of Lyle and promoting Ceres to heir was completely decided based on one duel

That is. . . . outrageous. Being a noble isn't even all about combat. It is incredibly irresponsible to decide the future of your House based on one event, one challenge.

Edit: Like, I suppose if she repeatedly shows up Lyle in every category, sure, I can see them promoting Ceres as heir.

But did they really need to oust Lyle from the family entirely? Absolutely not. Especially since at first Lyle was labeled as a prodigy, apparently. There's gotta be something else at play here.

Yeah, I don’t know about that dude.
She is just far more capable than MC in every aspect, and has shows that she surpasses him for 5 years straight, in other words, she's smarter, stronger, better at politics, ect, and they would 100% be trained on stuff like that at a very young age due to being nobles, in other words, as an heir, she's just so much more capable than him that it's obvious that she is a superior heir to their household

The only problem, is that she's a shit person, which is the only thing that stops her from being a better heir, because she'll bring her house to her doom, which I did not think I would have to elaborate on

People posted spoilers, she isn't, not even remotely.
She has the ability to steal stuff from others and alter their memories. She never surpassed him, she stole his power, effort, and training. Then erased his memories of ever having had them.

These prev heirs are a bit silly and easygoing, which kinda takes the seriousness of the situation away, and I can't say I'm too fond of that. Not that I'm surprised; usually these types of 'powers' have this sort of relationship as if they are old friends more than anything else. Same was the case in Boku Hero.
